My younger sister is a doctor and thought this would be a great pin for all the wonderful doctors, PA's, DO's and nurses out there. My sister found out almost 10 years ago that she carried the BRCA2 gene mutation. At the age of 40, she had both of her breasts removed preventatively...in hopes that she will never hear the words, "You have breast cancer." She and I were the FORCE Outreach Coordiantors for Oregon for many years. My sister has always been there to support me- being there for me for my surgeries when I was diagnosed with cancer, helping with my children, and walking in the 24 Hour Relays, the 5K walks, and even the 60-mile breast cancer walks.
